Melissa F. Wernick


Melissa F. Wernick has a diverse practice with extensive experience in health care and hospital litigation, as well as general tort and commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense and intellectual property litigation in both state and federal court in New Jersey and New York.

Melissa regularly represents both health care providers and insurance companies in matters relating to disputed or unpaid medical claims, including Insurance Fraud Prevention Act claims.

As part of her health care practice, Melissa has also assisted physicians, hospitals and surgery centers in complex litigation involving RICO and False Claims Act claims. She also advises clients on matters pertaining to kickbacks, insurance fraud and shareholder disputes.
